- Subscribe to a diigo group that focuses on something you are interested in and blog feed from someone doing the job that you want to do one day to follow in your google reader.
- Add your school webmail to the bookmarks gadget
- Add the school website to the bookmarks gadget
- Add two post secondary institutions that offer your career goals.
- Add diigo to the bookmarks gadget
- Add any other websites that you frequent on your google bookmarks gadget.
- Put two school goals on your shared goals gadget, share them with a friend. Which courses are going to try to really excel in.
- Add google talk to your igoogle page. Choose a friend who is taking a class or is in a club that you think might interest you to chat with on google talk. Chat....about school ask them what they think of the class or club :)
- Choose a theme that suits your personality.
- Make igoogle your home page.
- Post a picture of your igoogle to a google document and answer this reflective question.
- On a google document answer these questions. Post it on your side bar. How can this personal learning network help your learning? What courses/ average do you need to have to take post secondary training in your career pathway? Which classes do you need to take next year to achieve that goal? Did you speak to a friend about any other courses or clubs you think you should take or join during your high school career? What did they say?
